Cleveland sacked Roethlisberger eight times in their 13-6 win over Pittsburgh last Thursday. Darrelle Revis: Jets cornerback: Revis nabbed one interception and shut down Buccaneers receiver Antonio Bryant in the Jets 26-3 win at Tampa on Sunday. Revis has six interceptions on the season and is a sure-fire selection for the Pro Bowl. Clint Session: Colts linebacker: Session logged six tackles in Sunday’s 28-16 win over Denver. The Colts remain undefeated after 13 games and have clinched home-field advantage in the post-season. Shawntae Spencer: 49ers cornerback: Spencer rose to the challenge in Monday night’s contest against Larry Fitzgerald and the rest of the Arizona Cardinals. Spencer led a secondary that held Fitzgerald to two catches and the rest of the Cards passing attack to 160 yards in their 24-9 win. Gerald Hayes: Cardinals linebacker: Hayes had five tackles in the Cards 24-9 loss at San Francisco on Monday night. LeSean McCoy: Eagles running back: McCoy gained 54 all-purpose yards in Philadelphia’s wild 45-38 win over the rival New York Giants. The Eagles are now in the driver’s seat for an NFC East division title. Lousaka Polite: Dolphins fullback: Polite paved the way for the Dolphins running attack Sunday at Jacksonville. Miami rushed for 146 yards and outmuscled the Jaguars in their 14-10 win. The win kept their slim chances for an AFC East title alive. Andy Lee: 49ers punter: Lee averaged 38 yards per punt and pinned two of them inside the 20 in San Francisco’s 24-9 win over NFC West leader Arizona. By David Whipkey LeSean McCoy: Eagles running back: Shady took advantage of Brian Westbrook’s injury and was the starter in the backfield Sunday against the New York Giants. McCoy was a key instrument in the Eagles 40-17 win over New York. He finished with 82 yards on 11 carries and added a 66-yard touchdown run late in the contest. Andy Lee: 49ers punter: Lee helped keep the high-powered Colts offense pinned deep all day long. He averaged 46 yards per punt on eight boots. Four of his kicks were downed inside the 20 yard line and he blasted one punt 59 yards. Shawntae Spencer 49ers cornerback: Spencer was a part of a defense that held Indianapolis’ offense in check. He finished with eight solo tackles in the Niners 18-14 loss to the undefeated Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. Clint Session: Colts linebacker: Session was a rock for the Colts defense and finished with eight total tackles. Indianapolis came from behind to earn a tough 18-14 win over visiting San Francisco. Jeff Otah: Panthers right tackle: Otah’s work on Carolina’s offensive line helped pave the way for 270 yards rushing in the Panthers 34-21 win at Arizona Sunday night. Larry Fitzgerald: Cardinals receiver: Fitzgerald continued his strong 2009 campaign with six catches for 66 yards in the Cardinals 34-21 loss to visiting Carolina. Gerald Hayes: Cardinals linebacker: Hayes was one of the few defensive bright spots during Sunday’s 34-21 loss to Carolina. He finished with eight total tackles. LaRod Stephens-Howling: Cardinals running back/kick returner: The rookie continues to display his versatility in the desert. Stephens-Howling scored his first NFL touchdown, a 14-yard scoring grab in the first quarter of Arizona’s 34-21 loss to Carolina. He also averaged 31.5 yards per kickoff return. Revis finished with one interception and two total tackles. Scott McKillop: 49ers linebacker: San Francisco’s special teams ace had three tackles in the Niners 24-21 loss at Houston. McKillop has 10 total tackles on the Niners coverage units this season, including a fumble recovery for a touchdown in San Francisco’s 35-0 in week 4. Shawntae Spencer: 49ers cornerback: Spencer added three tackles in the Niners loss at Houston. Andy Lee: 49ers punter: Lee continues to have a strong year for San Francisco. He averaged 43 yards per kick on five punts in the Niners 24-21 loss at Houston. Larry Fitzgerald: Cardinals receiver: Fitzgerald enjoyed a productive Sunday night in the swamps of New Jersey. The sixth-year receiver finished with six catches for 83 yards in the Cards 24-17 win over the New York Giants. Fitzgerald has 41 catches for 483 yards and five scores this season. Gerald Hayes: Cardinals linebacker: Hayes was instrumental in keeping the Giants running game in control with three tackles Sunday night. Hayes has 32 tackles this season with one forced fumble. Antonio Bryant: Buccaneers receiver: Bryant was the lone bright spot in Tampa Bay’s 35-7 loss to New England in London. Bryant had two catches for 51 yards, one of which went for a 33 yard touchdown. By David Whipkey Larry Fitzgerald: Cardinals Receiver: The sixth-year receiver is displaying the abilities that make him a weapon defenses must account for every game. Fitzgerald scorched Seattle for 100 yards receiving on 13 catches Sunday. His two-yard touchdown reception kick-started the Cardinals on their way to a 27-3 road win over the Seahawks. Jeff Otah: Panthers Left Tackle: Otah spearheaded a Carolina offensive line that gashed Tampa Bay’s defense for 267 yards rushing. The Panthers ground out a 28-21 Sunday at Tampa. Antonio Bryant: Buccaneers Receiver: Bryant caught two passes for 37 yards in Tampa Bay’s 28-21 loss to Carolina. Darrelle Revis: Jets Cornerback: Revis finished with five tackles in the Jets 16-13 overtime loss at home to Buffalo. Revis led a secondary that held the Bills to 116 yards passing. Gerald Hayes: Cardinals Linebacker: Hayes notched three tackles in the Cardinals 27-3 blowout win at Seattle. LeSean McCoy: Eagles Running Back: McCoy rushed five times for 13 yards in Philadelphia’s 13-9 loss at Oakland. McCoy’s 20 carries netted him 84 yards and one score in the Eagles 34-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Darrelle Revis: Jets Cornerback: Revis was again the linchpin of a strong Jets defensive effort. His six tackles led the team in Sunday’s 24-17 win over Tennessee. Revis’ strong coverage also helped force Titans quarterback Kerry Collins into a miserable 15 for 37, 170 yard passing day. Shawntae Spencer: 49ers Cornerback: Spencer finished Sunday’s game against Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings with three solo stops. He also intercepted the legendary Vikings quarterback, but it was not enough as Minnesota came back to nip the Niners 27-24. Andy Lee: 49ers Punter: Lee kept the Vikings pinned deep most of the day by hitting his nine punts for a 41 yard per kick average. Larry Fitzgerald: Cardinals Receiver: Fitzgerald was one of the few bright spots in Arizona’s 31-10 loss to Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. He finished with seven receptions for 76 yards. Gerald Hayes: Cardinals Linebacker: Hayes continues to be one of the more underappreciated defenders in the NFL. He finished his evening’s work with eight tackles in the Cards loss to the Colts. One week after stifling Houston’s Andre Johnson, Revis again displayed his coverage skills by limiting New England’s Randy Moss to 24 yards receiving on four receptions. Revis also contributed five tackles and one interception of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in New York’s 16-9 win at the Meadowlands. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals receiver: Fitzgerald helped the Cards rebound after a disappointing season opening loss to San Francisco. The current Madden ’10 video game cover boy hauled in a 22-yard scoring pass from Kurt Warner in Arizona’s 31-17 win over host Jacksonville. Fitzgerald finished with four catches for 34 yards in the win. Gerald Hayes, Arizona Cardinals linebacker: Hayes was a stabilizing force in Arizona’s defense during their 31-17 win at Jacksonville. Hayes finished with three tackles and assisted the defense in holding the Jaguars to 92 yards rushing. LaRod Stephens-Howling, Arizona Cardinals kick returner: The rookie finished with 14 yards rushing on two carries and added 25 yards worth of kick return yardage. Shawntae Spencer, San Francisco 49ers cornerback: Spencer is fast becoming a force in San Francisco’s secondary. Spencer finished with two tackles in their 23-10 win over Seattle and helped hold the Seahawks to 224 yards passing. Andy Lee, San Francisco 49ers punter: Lee kept Seattle’s offense pinned deep all day Sunday. The sixth-year punter averaged 40 yards per punt on six boots in Sunday’s 23-10 over the Seahawks. LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles running back: Shady made things happen Sunday when he touched the ball in Philadelphia’s 48-22 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
